International Women’s Day in Newcastle is set to be a fabulous event showcasing local architecture completed by female architects. Breakfast along with a talk from Architect Prue Bowe and her clients John and Lorna to be held at The Gladdy followed by site tours of projects designed by female architects. The tours will be within walking distance of The Gladdy so you can take the ferry across the harbour to the event. House tours to include: Stockton Link House by Sarah Truscott Architects (Commendation in the 2025 Newcastle Awards) Queen Street House by Prudence Bowe Architect We will also share the announcement of the Marion Mahoney Prize (straight from Sydney) during breakfast. A light breakfast and choice of coffee or sparkling is included in the ticket price.
