On behalf of the Queensland Chapter Outgoing President Caroline Stalker, please join us for the President’s Honours celebration on the 20th of February 2026. The President’s Honours Dinner is a celebration of the continuing dedication of architects to bettering the community, upholding ethical working practices and creating a network that fosters the growth of both up-and-coming and established industry professionals. The ceremony represents a significant moment in Chapter history in which the current Chapter President entrusts the responsibilities of the Chapter to the newly appointed President. Each year, the Chapter honours its outstanding members at the different stages in their lifelong learning through President’s prizes. This year the outgoing President, Caroline Stalker, will hand over the official chain of office to incoming Queensland President, Peter Gardiner. Following which, awards for some of Queensland’s most accomplished students with the QIA Medallions for their outstanding achievements, along with the Bisset Scholarship will be awarded. The Board of Architects Queensland (BOAQ) prizes will also be presented. The evening also recognises some of the professions most experienced practitioners through Fellowship elevations. Their distinguished accomplishments and ongoing commitment to lifelong development in architecture are recognised through annual member elevations to Fellows and Life Fellows of the Institute.
